Former DeKalb Resident Is Taken Friday
Word was received in DeKalb late yesterday telling of the death of Mrs.
Margaret Henaughan of Kenosha, Wis., widow of John Henaughan and formerly a
resident of this city. Mrs. Henaughan passed away at 10:30 o'clock yesterday
morning the message stated.
Mrs. Henaughan was born in Hamilton, Mo., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Riley. On November 29, 1900, she was united in marriage to John E. Henaughan
at one time in the furniture and undertaking business in this city. Mrs.
Henaughan came to DeKalb with her parents when she was a child and made her
home here until thirteen years ago when Mr. Henaughan died. She then moved to
Kenosha, where the home has since been made.
She is survived by one son, "Raymond Henaughan of Villa Park; four
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. M.J. Bentley and Miss Alice Riley, both of
Kenosha, and one brother, John Riley of this city.
The body will remain at the Crossin Funeral Home, 1119 60th Street, Kenosha,
until the services which will be held at 9:00 o'clock Monday morning from the
St. Mary's Church, Kenosha. the body will be brought to DeKalb for burial in
the St. Mary's cemetery.
