Fred Albrecht died Sunday, January 30, 1898.  He was born in Germany in 1853 and moved to this country in 1871.  He resided on a farm two miles south of here until three years ago, when he removed to Sycamore.  He came here from that place about a year ago.  He was ill about three years.  He leaves a wife and one child.  His mother survives him, also a sister in Germany and brothers in California, Nebraska and Sycamore.  The funeral was held at the German Lutheran Church in Sycamore, Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

Funeral in Sycamore Tomorrow.

 

    Fred Albrecht died at his home at Richardson station on Sunday (Jan. 30, 1898).  He

removed from Sycamore last year, and built at Richardson a fine large boarding house and store, but had hardly got it in operation before his death.

    Fred Albrecht was born in Germany, but since his youth had been a resident of this country, making his home on a farm east of Sycamore.  A few years ago he removed to Sycamore.  He built a pretty residence on South Cross Street, but upon removing from Sycamore, sold it to the present occupant, O. F. Joiner.

    Mr. Albrecht had been in poor health for several years. The widow and one child survive.  His mother, three brothers and one sister are living. The deceased was 44 years of age.

    The funeral will be held tomorrow, Thursday, February 3, at the home at 12:00 and at the German Lutheran church in Sycamore at 1:30 o'clock, with the interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
