Mrs. William C. Loptien, 1918 Third Avenue, Moline, aged 72 years, died in her home at 5:30 yesterday morning following an illness of one week of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Loptien was born in Zuma Township, Rock Island County, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Donahoo.

 

She was married to William C. Loptien in Rock Island in January 1878, and since that time had made her home in Moline.

 

Surviving are the widower; two sons, William E. and Charles C. Loptien of Moline; two sisters, Mrs. Elma Coder and Mrs. Luella Donahoo of Hampton; and four brothers, James A., J. E., and A. W., Donahoo of Moline and Clint Donahoo of Hillsdale. Funeral services will be held at 2-tomorrow afternoon in Know funeral home, Moline. Burial will be in Riverside Mausoleum. The Rev. Stanley W. Graf of Gordon Memorial Congregational Church will officiate.
