JERRY SULLIVAN Jr., 61, SOUTH GROVE FARMER,
DIED SUNDAY MORNING
Jerry Sullivan, aged 61 years, a lifelong resident of South Grove township
and well known throughout the county, died Sunday morning at St. Mary's
hospital, Dekalb, after a period of ill health extending over a period of
six
months. Mr. Sullivan suffered a stroke of paralysis on January 8, and
gradually failed until his death.
Jerry Sullivan was born in South Grove township 61 years ago, and all
his mature years had been engaged in farming. He was well known in
Sycamore and leaves many friends here to mourn his death.
He leaves surviving two children,; one brother, John, of Oldfield, Mo.,
and two sisters, Mrs. Joe Holland and Mrs. Charles Camp, both of Belvidere.
Mrs. Sullivan passed away five and one-half years ago.
Funeral services were held this Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from
St. Mary's church at Oregon and the interment was in the Oregon cemetery.
